JOIN FOCUS: FACING FORWARD

Are you interested in being involved with developing an intervention which supports African American cancer survivors and their families in promoting healthy behaviors post--treatment?

We want to partner with you in our work.

Who is eligible? Adults who are willing to do research with our team as community partners.

Community partners will receive: biannual research honoraries.

We are currently developing an intervention study, called FOCUS: Facing Forward, for African American adults who have completed treatment for early-stage breast or colorectal cancer and their adult family members. The overall goal is to improve lifestyle behavior engagement and quality of life by addressing both individual and family-level needs and maximizing the potentially synergistic effects of family support. We are currently recruiting community partners who would like to help with intervention development.
